Cordless Cellular Day/Night Shade

Presented in a stylish accordion design, these ready-made "Day & Night" shades will transform the look and feel of your room. Moving the top or bottom up or down (all without cords), you control the position of the unique insulating pleats. This enables you to easily set levels of light and privacy—and buffer the heat and cold—according to your mood, time of day and the season.

• The light-filtering, room-darkening layers move independently.
• Unique honeycomb construction provides both excellent insulation and sound absorption.
• Choose from several colors (same color on both sides) and an inside or outside mount.
• The curved color-coordinated headrail includes hidden snap-in brackets.
• Made of durable polyester fabric.

The window must be at least 1½” deep for an inside mount and 2" deep for a flush inside mount. Mounting hardware is included. Vacuum or dust to keep clean. Imported.

    These shades have been a lifesaver on reducing our cooling costs in the summer. We spend a lot of time upstairs, and have spent a fortune trying to keep the temperature bearable. Aside from the convenience of making the entire upper floor noticeably cooler the day after we installed them, they offer enough opacity when we want to use the light filtering function so we are able to maintain our privacy. It's also convenient since our toddler is able to raise the bottom easily when she wants to see outside the window.

    The only complaints I have are that it's hard to get the bottom perfectly straight when you want the blind only partially raised due to the fact that it is a cordless shade. Also, the plastic tabs for holding the bottom of the shades come off easily, which is annoying, because then the bases slide off the shade too easily when trying to hang them. However these are only minor inconveniences and don't overshadow the more important qualities of being able to darken the room, keep out heat, completely screen us from view, and overall ease of use.
