All About Cellular Shades

Posted by Window Blind Outlet on

Cellular shades are a popular window treatment, and are available in many different variations. Here's an overview of what Window Blind Outlet offers.

Before we begin, a note regarding cell size. Our shades feature cells that measure 3/8", 1/2", and 3/4". These measurements are from the center of the cell to the outside point. So for example, a 1/2" cell will actually measure 1" from edge to edge.

Now let's get started!

Aura Cordless Cellular Shades

Aura Cordless Cellular Shade

Aura Cordless Cellular Shade in Daylight

Our Aura Cordless Cellular Shade is our standard honeycomb cellular shade. Featuring a 1/2" cell size, these shades come in 9 different color options. The color you select is used to create both sides of the shade, so you will have the same color on the interior and exterior of your home when you purchase this shade. The Aura Cordless Cellular Shade is a light filtering shade, so you will still get a healthy glow of light into your home when the shades are drawn. However, they provide substantial privacy, so no one will be able to look through them and see what is going on inside.

Aura Cordless Double Cellular Shades

The Aura Cordless Double Cellular Shade provides double the installation and sound absorption of our single cell shades. Two sets of 3/8" shades are layered to create a double pocket of protection. These shades come in 9 attractive colors. The color you select will face the interior of your home, while the back side is white for all shades, to present a uniform look to the exterior of your home. This is beneficial for some neighborhoods with HOAs that require white shades facing the street. These shades are light filtering, so even with the double layer of cells you will still get plenty of light into your home. Please note that the shades are not available in blackout or top down bottom up variations.
